Sustainable development is the idea that all actions in meeting socio-economic needs, done here and now, must not limit the development opportunities of future generations. This refers primarily to caring for our planet, our home. The main goal of the foundation is to improve the quality of life on numerous levels, including the areas of responsible production and environmental concerns. We can confidently say that the aforementioned ideas are the key, almost fundamental values of the business here at BUGLO. These are not empty words, trendy slogans, or a desire to please the prevailing fashion. It's a realistic look at our planet today, with constant concern for what our children and grandchildren will face. It’s also a model and a lesson for others on what steps to take to simply live better now and in the future.
Sustainable development policy – how do we do it at Buglo?
Whether it is the production of playground houses, getting the professionals there for installation, or sourcing components for the production of equipment – we always, from start to finish, focus on green solutions and sustainability. We act consciously and want to be better both for ourselves and those around us, while encouraging others (those big and small) to make positive changes for the sake of the future. We know how to do it, and we speak out about it!
- Daily company operations
It’s been known for a long time that if we want certain elements in our environment to change, we must start with ourselves. At BUGLO, it's not just at the production stage that we care about the planet. In the company's day-to-day operations, we also manifest this care. This can be seen, among other things, in the rigorous segregation of waste, the recovery of heat generated during production and used to heat the factory, the extraction of energy from the sun's rays and turning it into electricity (through the use of photovoltaic panels), or the increasing use of hybrid and electric cars. - Renewable materials
The aforementioned environmentally friendly solutions are not enough for us, and we did not want to stop there in our efforts. So we are betting on renewable materials. We will not quote stories of polluted seas and oceans here. Photos of such terrible destruction, with plastic covering the water surface, circulate around the world almost daily. At BUGLO, we aimed to turn this into something positive. So we fish the plastic out of the seas and... reuse it! How is such material created?
The manufacturer of the plastic from which the boards are obtained, among other things, mechanically recycles post-consumer marine fibers, fishing nets and ropes in order to process them into plastic raw materials, which become the material for the production of boards used as walls in houses (among other things, in the latest eco SMART collection). As a result, we reduce pollution, save energy and reduce carbon dioxide production.
Admittedly, we don't like to brag, but surely the information deserves special attention, recognition, and perhaps emulation. BUGLO is the first playground manufacturer in Poland to start using the plastic described above. But that is not all! Production is also carried out using other raw materials. So among the elements of our playgrounds you may come across poles made of recycled rice husk. This is definitely a testament to our focus on innovation in every aspect of our operations. We are also constantly looking for new solutions to make the oceans and seas simply cleaner again.
- Land in the hands of our children
How does this slogan connect to BUGLO's sustainability efforts? Educational playground boards, swings, slides – all these can not only entertain, but also... teach! We realize that children are our future. In a dozen years or so the fate of the planet will depend on them. So at BUGLO, we put a premium on education. The brand's mission is to encourage activity in our playgrounds to support the healthy and safe growth and development of young children and teens. However, this is not the end of our efforts! We carry out educational activities to expand environmental knowledge and awareness in the youngest children and, consequently, also in their parents. We teach how to use recycled products or reduce pollution.

Among the flagship products are devices from the ECO collection (made of coniferous wood). The wooden poles of these devices have undergone a three-stage impregnation process. In turn, the durable boards used in the creation (HPL and HDPE) can serve the little ones for years! Utility and ecology are not everything. The colors of the swings, or slides in this series, generally have green elements to further, also visually, allude to closeness to nature. Concrete examples include, for example, playground rockers, including model 8032 – scales swing with images of forest animals. Safe, environmentally friendly and stimulate the imagination of the little ones.
The second eco product collection are Robinia playgrounds. What sets this series apart is the combination of acacia hardwood and metal. Industrial inspiration is evident as day. Minimalist, creative solutions are within the reach of our children! In these kits you will find educational whiteboards, rope constructions and even musical tasks. The series was designed and built using eco-friendly wood from certified plantations. The organic form is fantastically inspiring to play with. What products are worth looking at? You may be interested in multi-tower set with a slide 8178. These are several items, ideal for children between the ages of 3 and 12. Two towers connected to each other, a slide, a climbing set, and a minimalist, unfussy design. In addition, the model is built from extremely durable, eco-friendly acacia, the quality of which is confirmed by a warranty issued for 15 years!
